Do you update existing resumes? 

Yes, updating the resumes is the most common service CharitysResCritiques provides as most clients already have a based resume but would like it more appealing to their job of interest, so that is where CharitysResCritiques comes in and works the magic. In a resume update/revamp, bullet points will be polished, updated and have adjusted formatting, and relevant experience will be highlighted and broadcasted.

How long should my resume really be?

One page for the average person. Typically, you don’t need to include more than the last 10-15 years of work experience. In fact, if you have over 10-15 years of work experience, you can either exclude select previous roles. Having at least 7 years of stable job history is good to have.

Are your resumes ATS-ready?

Yes, that is the main goal and purpose of updating/revamping resumes as most companies use algorithms to sort through thousands of resumes and pulling specific keywords to filter in the most qualified candidates.

How long does it take?

From the day the resume is received payment is due upon receiving the resume and it takes 1-5 business days from that day. For expedited resumes, the turnaround time is 1-2 business days (which is an additional fee in addition to the regular resume revamp/creation fee).

How does setting up a LinkedIn profile work?

We will walk through what information should be on the LinkedIn Profile, from job history information to the type of LinkedIn profile photo that should be used. CharitysResCritiques can update, or it can be set it up together, or a template can be provided of what to add into the LinkedIn Profile.

Can I speak with my resume writer by phone?

Yes! CharitysResCritiques clients get a phone interview/one on one text conversation (that take no more than 30 minutes) Most people have utilized the texting option for much quicker to the point responses. This is all to learn more about current skills, experience, and career goals.

Why should I use CharitysResCritiques?

I want to apply to different types of jobs. Can I get multiple resume versions?

Normally it is a resume of choice that is being created and everything else a la carte or a custom package. They will be delivered as a word document and PDF document (which is mobile-apply friendly).CharitysResCritiques encourages clients to treat these as flexible, "living" documents that you adapt for each job application. If your target jobs are in the same general field and/or industry, this approach often works better than creating and juggling multiple resumes and cover letters. It will also be much more cost-effective, as it takes a lot of additional time to professionally write alternate resumes and cover letters.

Do you offer a guarantee that I'll get a job?

CharitysResCritiques will create the best resume possible for you but can't guarantee you a job. Any resume service that does is just using a marketing gimmick. Resumes are a critical piece of the job search puzzle, but there are too many other factors involved for us to be able to make job offer guarantees.

How and when do I pay, what does it cost?

  • Cover Letter (or CVL Standard Template) ($15)

  • LinkedIn Profile Creation ($35)
